What I liked most about Speaking Made Simple was the creative approach — I think the use of color to pronounce vowel sounds is the most brilliant method of teaching non-native speakers how to speak English. – Maria Manganaan, the Philippines

Judy’s course gave me the confidence to speak on CBC radio. I don’t worry so much about grammar or my accent. – Yuriy Mityuryayev, Engineer/Program Manager

Speaking Canadian English Course was very helpful for me. I communicate efficiently with my clients and I feel confident when I am talking, because I know I am using all the tools found in English is Stupid, Students are Not. I try to put stress where it should be, sometimes I make a list of words and ask myself: Is this Grey? Olive,….sound????.A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to hear your interview on CBC news. Are you planning to start online course? If yes please let me know. Thanks Judy. Spes

I thank you very much for the great training on the Canadian way of speaking English. Your humorous, energetic and dynamic style of teaching was indeed a rare experience. I enjoyed every second that I spent in the class with you. – Pankaj Bhargava, Pakistan

Judy introduced me to a new and very creative approach for learning to speak English. I found her English Phonetic Alphabet and Vowel Chart very useful instruments for non-native speakers. Reading of ‘English is Stupid, Students are Not ‘ was always fun and a great help for improving my English. It is really my pleasure to know you as a wonderful teacher. Wishing you all the best, enjoy your life. Jason Guo, China

Today, I went through my interview with two recruiters. After about one hour’s conversation, they were satisfied with the change in my accent. I also took your picture with the horse with me  just to impress them. You look like a royal person in that picture. I showed them I have a professional teacher who was interviewed on CBC and in some newspapers.  I convinced them, that I was working on my accent every day and they gave me the green light. I got the job. I am satisfied with my performance today and I can say all this happened because of you, SO TEACHER JUDY, YOU ARE GREAT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GUIDANCE. Barinder Singh Grewal – India
